Kristopher D. Collman has been an Associate of the Firm since obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2007. Born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1982, Kristopher is a member of the Fayette County Bar Association and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. He graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in 2003, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis on technical and professional communications.
While attending the University of Kentucky College of Law, Kristopher received the Best Brief award in his writing section and the CALI Award for obtaining the highest grade in his class in Civil Procedure. He also served as a staff member and editor of the Kentucky Law Journal from 2005-2007.
Kristopher’s practice is broad and includes commercial, personal injury, equine, and class action litigation. He also enjoys working with clients to formulate and execute contracts to meet their business needs. Since 2009, Kristopher has overseen the resolution of over $2 million in claims against Merck & Co., Inc. with respect to injuries sustained by consumers of Vioxx in Kentucky.
Raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Kristopher has lived in Lexington since 2004. In his free time he enjoys live music, running, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family.
