is a partner in the firm, and practices in the area of general civil litigation, with concentrations in business, healthcare, employment, and insurance coverage. She also represents charter schools around the State on a range of issues such as contract negotiations, employment, financing, operational, litigation, fundraising, and government affairs objectives.

While attending the Charleston School of Law, Julia was an active member of the moot court team. She was also selected by the faculty and founders as one of four students from her graduating class to be a member of the Forensics Club, which recognizes those students who are dedicated to the perpetuation of the law as a profession with the chief aim of providing public service. Prior to receiving her juris doctorate, summa cum laude, Julia travelled the world working as a professional actress and singer. Julia attended Queens College on a volleyball scholarship and participates in local alumni events.

She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and Federal Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of South Carolina. Julia was honored to be listed by the 2013 Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star in the area of Civil Litigation Defense. Less than three percent of the lawyers in South Carolina receive this honor.
