He has significant experience as an Assistant States Attorney in Montgomery and Prince George’s County. He spent over three years as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Montgomery County and two years as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Prince Georges County. During his an employment as an Assistant State’s Attorney Mr. Guillory had the opportunity gain to invaluable litigation experience in the areas of criminal and motor vehicle law. During this Mr. Guillory successfully tried hundreds of criminal and serious traffic cases and relies on this experience as his foundation to his abilities as a defense attorney. <P> He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, The Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association and a former member of The National College for DUI Defense. <P> Receiving numerous honors throughout his educational career, Mr. Guillory graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 1997 and then proceeded to Washington and Lee University School of Law earning his Juris Doctorate in 2001. Mr. Guillory was National Merit Scholar and was a Benjamin Banneker Scholar while at the University of Maryland. He also participated on the Regional Mock Trial Championship team during his undergraduate career. While attending the Washington and Lee School of Law, Mr. Guillory was a full scholarship student and participated in the Davis Moot Court as well as several Client Counseling and Negotiations competitions. <P> Mr.Guillory is a lifelong resident of Maryland and currently resides in Waldorf, Maryland. He gives complete credit to his parents for instilling in him the values and work ethic that has allowed him to attain his level of success in life. He often jokes,” I had the worse combination of parents a child could ever have, a teacher for a mother and a policeman for a father.” This unique combination gave him his desire to eagerly seek knowledge and information as well as a passion for criminal law, the two things that have guided him on his career path.
