This experience inspired her to attend law school and, in 2006, she graduated cum laude from UMKC, where she received awards for her performances in moot court competitions, criminal law, and other areas of academia. After graduation, Gina worked for the Public Defender’s office, where she vigorously defended countless felony cases. In her years of practice, Gina has tried several cases to juries, both criminal and civil, with many victories.
