Cory Atkins has significant trial and appellate experience. Prior to entering civil practice, Mr. Atkins practiced as an Assistant Attorney General of the State of Missouri and served as law clerk to the Honorable Zel M. Fischer, Supreme Court of Missouri.

Mr. Atkins has handled over seventy appeals and has edited or advised on hundreds of appellate matters; he has filed briefs and argued cases in all three divisions of the Missouri Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Missouri, the Kansas Court of Appeals and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior to joining The Accurso Law Firm, Mr. Atkins represented individuals and corporations, handling matters ranging from personal injury, commercial disputes, professional liability, health care litigation and employment discrimination.

Mr. Atkins has lectured to medical students on topics including medical malpractice, tort reform, antitrust and tax issues in health care.
