Mr. Hernandez has handled hundreds of title insurance and mechanic's lien matters. He was the Chair of the ABA Title Insurance Litigation Committee (2007-2008). Mr. Hernandez presented a paper at the 1999 ABA Annual Convention in Atlanta on construction and mechanic's lien issues. He has also successfully handled many fiduciary bond matters, and he presented a paper on fiduciary bond claims at the 2001 ABA Annual Convention in Chicago.
Mr. Hernandez has also made presentations to the Los Angeles County Bar Association on title insurance and fiduciary bond litigation. In 2008, he was a speaker at the California Mortgage Bankers Association Western States Loan Servicing Convention on the topic of Title Insurance Claims.
Mr. Hernandez enjoys collecting first edition books, and art pottery and antiques from the Arts & Crafts period.
