Practice Areas: White Collar Criminal Defense

Additional Information: Dan Sale is an associate in the Special Matters & Government Investigations practice group in King & Spalding’s Washington, D.C., office. Mr. Sale’s practice focuses on white collar criminal litigation and government investigations, complex civil litigation, corporate internal investigations, and compliance counseling.

Before joining King & Spalding, Mr. Sale served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard D. Bennett of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Mr. Sale earned his undergraduate degree in economics from Yale University, and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an Editorial Board member and Note Production Editor on the Tax Lawyer law journal. During Law School, Mr. Sale served as a law clerk in the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland where he assisted in numerous criminal matters, including a capital murder prosecution.

Mr. Sale is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He holds Top Secret/SCI security clearances until their expiration.
