Additional Information: Carmen is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Wake Forest University. She is a graduate of the University Of South Carolina School Of Law and while there she was on the editorial board of the University of South Carolina Law Review.

During law school Carmen was selected to the Order of the Coif, the Order of Wig and Robe, the John Belton O’Neal Inn of Court and she received the CALI Awards for Property I and Property II.

After graduating from law school Carmen practiced with Nelson Mullins Riley and Scarborough in the firm’s Atlanta office. Upon returning to South Carolina, Carmen accepted a position at Richardson Plowden Carpenter and Robinson where she worked with Charlie Carpenter in the appellate section. She has been a vital part of Carpenter Appeals from the beginning.

Carmen is admitted to practice before all of the state courts of Georgia and South Carolina as well as the U.S. District Courts for South Carolina, the Northern District of Georgia, the Middle District of Georgia and the United States Courts of Appeal for the 4th Circuit and the 11th Circuit.

She has participated in a number of appeals involving a variety of legal issues in both the state and federal appellate courts.

Carmen is married to an attorney, Warren Ganjehsani, who is in the Office of the Attorney General of South Carolina. They started their young family and are proud parents.
