Professional Biography: Mr. Sutton served as a legislative intern for the Arizona Parks & Recreation Association in 1988. During law school, he worked as a law clerk for Ferder Ogdahl Brandt & Casebeer in Salem, Oregon in 1991 and for the Law Offices of Dutson & Dove in Mesa, Arizona in 1990. Mr. Sutton began his law practice as an associate with Kellington, Krack, Richmond & Blackhurst in Medford, Oregon in 1992 and became a partner in the firm in 1997. Mr. Sutton was a partner until January of 2005 when he opened his own office. He has served as an adjunct professor teaching business law for the extended campus program of Northwest Christian College since 2004. He also serves as an arbitrator for the Jackson County Circuit Court arbitration program. Mr. Sutton is also one of the few Oregon attorneys certified by for ACA International to review collection notices for legal compliance. Mr. Sutton also serves as a mentor in the mentor program of the Oregon State Bar.

Community Involvement: Mr. Sutton is a member and past president of the Rogue Valley Professional Association and is a member and former officer for a local camp of The Gideons International. He has also coached youth soccer in the Table Rock Soccer Club and taught children’s and adult Sunday school at Rogue Valley Christian Church. Mr. Sutton is also a member of the United States Tennis Association and has worked as a volunteer on a project that will reinstitute a tennis program at Crater High School and expand tennis programs for kids in School District No. 6. He is a member of the Central Point chapter of Rotary International.
