Additional Information: Jeff Oldham is an appellate attorney with experience in a wide range of legal areas, and a special emphasis on commercial litigation and constitutional law. Mr. Oldham has briefed and argued numerous appeals in the federal and state appellate courts, including briefing several cases in the U.S. Supreme Court. He also regularly works with trial counsel by formulating pre-trial strategy, writing dispositive motions, preparing jury charges, and preserving error at trial. Mr. Oldham is a frequent speaker about Supreme Court and other appellate issues.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Oldham served as Counsel to the Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice, and as a law clerk to Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist, U.S. Supreme Court, and to Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Prior to joining Bracewell, Mr. Oldham was an associate in the Supreme Court and Appellate group at Mayer Brown LLP.
