Additional Information: Mr. Johnson is a partner in the firm's Denver office and the former head of its Labor and Employment Practice Group.

In his nearly 30 years of practice, Mr. Johnson has represented management in a number of areas, including employment discrimination litigation and counseling (including race, sex, sexual harassment, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, and national origin); wrongful discharge litigation; personnel counseling (including employee handbooks and personnel policies and procedures); individual employee rights (including e-mail, employee privacy, and drugs and alcohol matters); wage and hour (including employer counseling, Department of Labor audits, and defense of private and government wage suits); WARN Act advice and litigation; National Labor Relations Act matters (representation, unfair labor practice, collective bargaining, and strikes and picketing); non-solicitation and non-compete agreements and other trade secret matters; and employee safety and health. He also regularly assists the firm's corporate attorneys and clients on the labor and employment aspects of transactional matters.

He has labor and employment law experience in a wide variety of industries, with a broad range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses. He has substantial experience in defending class actions and multi-plaintiff cases.

He is admitted to practice in Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits. He has appeared in federal and state courts in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nebraska, and Kansas, as well as before state labor and employment agencies in those states.
