Dallas, TX - Sarah Milburn sued American Honda Motor Co., et al. on personal injury, auto negligence and product liability theories claiming that the driver of the Uber vehicle in which she as a passenger was negligent and that the rear seat seatbelt in the Honda in which she was a passenger was defective and unreasonably dangerous.

Plaintiff suffered a spinal cord injury in the accident which left her a paraplegic. Milburn was a passenger in the middle third row seat of the vehicle. She was a college student who was home for a visit when she was hurt.

Outcome: Plaintiff's verdict for $37 million with a finding that Honda was 63% at fault.
