Norman, OK - The Estate of Brend Taber, deceased, by and through her Surviving Spouse, Phil Taber, personal representative, sued Mudazzir Nawaz, M.D., Mudassir Nawaz, M.D., P.C., Chintan A. Parikh, M.D., Chintn A. Parikh, M.D., P.C., James R. McCurdy, M.D., James R. McCurdy, M.D., P.C., and Normal Regional Hospital Authority, d/b/a Norman Regional Hospital on wrongful death medical malpractice theories.

Plaintiff claimed that Brenda Taber died at Norman Regional Hospital on February 1, 2014 as a direct result substandard negligent healthcare.


Brenda Taber was seen in the Norman Regional Hospital ER on January 24, 2014 by Dr. Hill.


The defendants denied fault and claimed that Plaintiff's lawyer intended to use the "Reptile Theory" of trail presentation to scare the jury to find in favor of his client by emphasizing patient safety.
