Tulsa, OK - Kasey Rosson and John Holata, deceased, sued Megan Hobbs, Blue Ox Dance Hall, d/b/a Legends, and Nick Skyles on dram shop negligence theories.
Plaintiff claimed that she and her husband, John Holata, were seriously injured in a car wreck caused by Megan Hobbs.
Plaintiff claimed that Legends was negligent in that it sold alcohol to Megan Hobbs, who was 20-years-old.
After being sold alcohol by Legends, Hobbs drove the wrong way of I-244 into oncoming traffic and hit Plaintiff vehicle head on seriously injuring Plaintiff and her husband.
Outcome: Settled for an undisclosed sum and dismissed with prejudice.
