Description: Plff, male age 49, general contractor. Plff’s ex-wife, Def. Knight, asked him to hang Christmas lights at her house and she had left a ladder that they had purchased while they were married leaning against the gutter. The ladder was standing on a stamped concrete walkway which resembled London cobblestone. Plff contended he was approximately seven (7) feet up the ladder when it slipped out from under him, causing him to fall. Plff contended Def. Knight failed warn him about the slipperiness of the stamped concrete sidewalk that the ladder was on. The walkway was installed seven (7) months before the accident by Def. AAA Solid Concrete Construction.

Outcome: Defendants' verdict for all defendants
