Aaron Caleb Swenson, age 38, a member of the anti-government extremist Boogaloo movement, went looking for a cop to kill in Bowie County on April 11, 2020. He armed himself with three firearms, a katana sword and more than 150 rounds of ammunition.

Defendant was charged with attempted capital murder, felony evading arrest and terroristic threatening.

Outcome: Defendant was found guilty and faces up to 99 years in prison.
