Oklahoma City, OK - The State of Oklahoma charged Julie M. Ezell, age 38, with two counts of misdemeanor sending of threatening emails to herself about medical marijuana regulations.

Defendant was originally charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors.

Ms. Ezell was representing the Oklahoma Health Department at the time of the alleged wrongful conduct.

Outcome: Ezell pleaded guilty Wednesday to using a computer to violate the law and to falsely reporting a crime. She was sentenced under a plea deal to five years on probation. She also agreed to pay $21,800 in restitution.
