Nicholas DuPuis joined Adams and Reese in 2012 as an Associate in the firm�s Nashville office in the Transactions Practice Group.

Nick has practice area experience in litigation issues stemming from labor and employment, real estate, tax, and financial services.

Nick served as an intern for the Honorable Robert E. Brizendine at the United States Bankruptcy Court, and he was a former intern for the Honorable Craig L. Schwall at the Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta, Georgia.

Nick�s accomplishments include:

Served as a member of the Tennessee Law Review.

Volunteered at UT Pro Bono, a community service organization at the University of Tennessee College of Law which connected law students with area attorneys representing indigent clients.

Earned several scholarships and awards at Miami University of Ohio, including the Mary Klepinger Memorial Scholarship, Oxford Scholars Scholarship, and the Commissioner�s Award Recipient for excellence in academics while competing in athletics.

Received his bachelor of arts and bachelor of science in finance, diplomacy and foreign affairs from Miami University of Ohio, in 2009.

Nick competed on the men�s swimming and diving team and was varsity team captain at Miami University of Ohio, where he helped lead the team to a Mid-American Conference Championship in 2006. He also won the individual Mid-American Conference Championship in 2007 and was a member of the All Mid-American Conference First and Second Teams. Among the people Nick most admires is his former swimming coach Pete Lindsay, who developed his swimmers into successful young men and always put personal development ahead of athletic achievement. Coach Lindsay played a major role in teaching Nick the importance of being a team player, having a tireless work ethic, and always competing in an ethical manner.

In the community, Nick was a former volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Happy Tails Pet Assisted Therapy, and participated in the State-to-State Half Marathon, organized by the Oxford American Discovery Trail Running Club to promote and encourage long distance running and to educate the public on the many benefits of running.

In his spare time, Nick runs and swims on a daily basis and believes in the importance of exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle. He also enjoys watching sports and spending time with his golden retriever, Rosco.
