Nathan's practice areas include complex criminal defense and civil litigation in both state and federal court. Nathan has extensive experience in criminal defense as well as in representing physicians in matters with the Department of Professional Licensing (DOPL) and in representing police officers and firefighters in Section 1983 civil rights complaints filed in federal court. Nathan is a member of the federal Criminal Justice Act panel and is often appointed to represent indigent criminal defendants in criminal court.
Prior to joining Snow, Christensen & Martineau, Nathan practiced at Stirba, P.C. He served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Nevada. During his career, Nathan has prosecuted over one thousand felony cases including white collar crime, fraud, and violent crime. Nathan has successfully conducted multiple jury trials in both state and federal court and has argued before the Nevada Supreme Court and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
While attending law school, Nathan served as an intern at the White House in Washington, D.C. and he successfully conducted his first two trials while clerking at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Virginia.
Nathan has been a legal commentator on KSL Radio's “The Nightside Project” and he has been a guest lecturer at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney School of Law. Nathan has been listed by Mountain States Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star for 2011-2013.
Nathan enjoys scuba diving, snowboarding and actively participates in various team sports.

Serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the S.J. Quinney College of Law.
