Mr. Rosenblat was born and raised in Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign, and from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. After graduating from law school, Mr. Rosenblat enlisted in the US Army and attended basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, Officer Candidate School, Infantry Office Basic Course, and Airborne School at Ft Benning, Georgia. 2nd Lt. Rosenblat was assigned to the 7th Infantry Division (Light) as a platoon leader. In 1990, 1st Lt. Rosenblat was transferred to the Judge Advocate General�s Corps to continue his legal career. Capt. Rosenblat was assigned to the 9th Infantry Division at Ft. Lewis, Washington as a prosecutor and deployed to Dragon Base/Dharan Saudi Arabia. After finishing his tour in Southwest Asia, Capt. Rosenblat was reassigned as a defense counsel. In 1993, Capt. Rosenblat left active duty and became an Assistant Attorney General with the Illinois Attorney General�s Office in Chicago. At the Attorney General�s Office, Mr. Rosenblat was assigned to the Criminal Prosecutions and Trial Assistance Bureau. During his tenure, Mr. Rosenblat prosecuted an elected County Sheriff, a Joliet police officer, an elected clerk of the Circuit Court, and several Illinois Department of Corrections prison guards for official misconduct. He also prosecuted home repair fraud, aggravated arson, and murder cases. As Deputy Chief Medicaid Fraud, he was a member of the Walgreens Global Settlement Team. Walgreens agreed to pay $7.6 million to settle a false claims case alleging that Walgreens over charged states and the federal government for prescription drugs. As Deputy Chief Criminal Prosecutions, he supervised the assistants assigned to that bureau and as Deputy Bureau Chief, Special Litigation Bureau, he prosecuted false claims cases on behalf of the State. In private practice, Mr. Rosenblat represented consumers in the Ford/Firestone Tire Litigation, Superior Bank underinsured depositors litigation, and Enron Securities Litigation. The Firm concentrates its practice on criminal defense, and false claims prosecutions. In addition to Mr. Rosenblat�s legal accomplishments, he co-authored an article on the Illinois Whistleblower Reward and Protection Act, has spoken before groups concerning false claims issues, appeared on the local cable show �Newsmakers� to discuss prescription drug pricing and appeared on �Fox News Live,� on February 28, 2005, to discuss the Michael Jackson trial.
