As a law student, Ms. Bundren received the Order of the Barrister Award for exellence in courtroom advocacy, the Josephine Yalch Zekan Award for the best scholarly work promoting faith in law, her law review article, "The Influence of Catholicism, Islam and Judaism on the Assisted Reproductive Technologies (�ART�) Bioethical and Legal Debate: A Comparative Survey of ART in Italy, Egypt, and Israel," was published in the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review in 2007. In addition, Ms. Bundren was the TU Nominee, Roscoe Pound Civil Justice Institute's Elaine Osborne Jacobson Award, and was the recipient of the John and Hazel Rogers Memorial Law Scholarship. She is a member of the Johnson-Sontag Council Oaks Inns of Court, the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, and the Tulsa County Bar Association. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Bundren had a long career as a professional writer in areas including journalism, public relations, and freelance writing. She is also an author. Ms. Bundren is a Commissioner on the Mayor's Commission for the Status of Women. |
