Mr. Roper has tried numerous patent infringement bench and jury trials. He has been lead trial counsel in more than 30 trials on behalf of national and international companies, including The Dow Chemical Company, Union Carbide, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic and Phillips Petroleum Company. Mr. Roper has also represented clients in substantial computer-related litigation such as in the field of word processing software used by Microsoft Word and other leading manufacturers. Mr. Roper has also been lead trial counsel in a wide variety of cases involving biotechnology, medical devices, intraocular lenses and pharmaceuticals.
