Wanda Hudson, age 42, claimed that she was negligently locked in a 30x10 storage unit by the Manager of the Parkway Storage in Birmingham, Alabama. She was locked in the unit for 63 days and lost 65 pounds. She survived on fruit juice and canned foods in the unit. She had been evicted from her home and was living in the unit when it was accidentally locked by the manager.
