Stopher of Boehl Stopher & Graves, LLP, Lousivlle, Kentucky Description: David Ray Burton, age 48, sought compensation under FELA for injuries and damages that he claimed that he sustained as a result of exposure to toxic chemical used by CSX at its rail yard in Louisville where he worked. He claimed that he develope chronic toxic encephalopathy from exposure to harmful solvents. CSX claimed that Burton had multiple sclerosis and that exposure to chemical at work had nothing to do with this health problems. Outcome: Defendant's verdict.
