The defendants denied they had entered into a contract with the plaintiffs to manage the Emmetsburg project. They contended the parties did not intend to be bound prior to signing a separate, formal written management agreement. Outcome: Plaintiff's verdict awarding $10 million in damages with a finding that Kirke individually personally guaranteed the performance of Wild Rose Entertainment.
