Description: Medical malpractice - The Defendant doctor, who was deceased at the time of trial, negligently injected Plaintiff, a 22-year-old girl, over the course of a few months with steroids in a dosage that exceeded the dosage allowed by the standard of care. Defendant's negligence caused the Plaintiff to suffer Cushing's Syndrome. The Cushing's Syndrome resolved after Plaintiff was taken off the steroids, but Plaintiff was left with permanent, purple stria on most of her body that could not be removed.
Outcome: Plaintiff's verdict for $350,000.00.
