A portion of the property taken for street improvements was apparently already subject to a easement owned by the City of Tulsa. The commissioners' award was $10,000.00. The City's expert testifed to $17,000 in damages and defendant's appraiser to $111,000. The City offered the property owner $37,500 before trial. Outcome: Verdict for the defendant for $55,361.00.
