Description: Tulsa, OK - Steven Wayne Adams sued Anthony Dwayne Mattox on an auto negligence theory claiming:

1. That on or about April 15, 2013, at approximately US Hwy. 169 and East Admiral Place in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, Defendant MATTOX negligently operated a motor vehicle by cutting in front of Plaintiff’s vehicle at a speed below the minimum posted speed limit.
2, That as a result of Defendant’s negligence , Plaintiff had no time to avoid collision with the rear of Plaintiff’s vehicle and a collision occurred.
3. That the actions of Defendant Mattox violated the following traffic ordinance of Title

37 of the City of Tulsa Traffic Code as follows, to-wit:
Title 37, Section 640(B)
A vehicle shall be driven entirely within a single lane and shall not be
removed from such lane until the driver has first ascertained that such
movement can be made with safety. The driver shall signal his intent
to change lanes prior to doing so.
4. That as a result, Plaintiff, was injured, prevented from transacting his business,
suffered great pain of body and mind, and incurred expenses for medical treatment.

Outcome: Settled for an undisclosed sum and dismissed with prejudice.
