Description: Oklahoma City, OK - Denise Porter-Hoitt sued Anderson Trucking Service, Inc., R & R Donnelley and Orangetree Trucking, LLC on negligence theories claiming to have been injured and/or damaged in a car truck wreck that occurred on March 28, 2012 in which she suffered a cervical fracture and other injuries when plywood pallets fell on her. Plaintiff claimed that she was a passenger in a vehicle leased from Anderson Trucking Services and that on the date of the accident sheets of plywood that were on the trailer fell on her. The truck was being driven by Donald Hoitt. R&R Donnelly employees insisted that Hoitt move the sheets of plywood to the back of the trailer before they would load their goods on the trailer with the plywood. Donnelly's employees refused to help move the plywood sheets and Hoitt ask Plaintiff to help. In the process, the sheets of plywood shifted and fell on her.
Outcome: Settled for $212,000.00.
