Description: El Reno, OK - Christy Chandler sued Angel Ochoa-Garcia on an auto negligence theory claiming:

1. Plaintiff CHRISTY CHANDLER is and was at all pertinent times hereto, a resident of Oklahoma County, State of Oklahoma.
2. Defendant ANGEL OCHOA-GARCIA is and was at all pertinent times hereto, a resident of Canadian County, State of Oklahoma.
3. The acts and/or omissions complained of herein occurred in Canadian County, State of Oklahoma, thereby jurisdiction and venue are properly vested with this Court.
4. The injuries sustained by the Plaintiff were solely and proximately caused by the negligence of the Defendant; ANGEL OCHOA-GARCIA.
5. The accident, which is the subject of this lawsuit, occurred onJune 18,2013, at the intersection of Arrowhead and Piedmont Rd in Piedmont, Canadian County, Oklahoma. Plaintiff was stopped on Arrowhead at Piedmont Rd facing East when Defendant made an improper left hand turn and hit the Plaintiff’s vehicle on the left front side.
6. That said accident occurred as a direct result of the negligence of Defendant, ANGEL OCHOA-GARCIA, in that he negligently operated his vehicle by failing to devote full time and attention to his driving and failed to yield to traffic.
7. The Defendant, ANGEL OCHOA-GARCIA, breached his duty to devote full time and attention to his driving, failed to operate his vehide in a reasonable, safe and proper manner for the traffic conditions, failed to keep proper lookout for other vehicles and, failed to obey the right of way to other vehicles.
8. The acts of Defendant, ANGEL OCHOA-GARCIA, herein proximately caused and contributed to the injuries and damages complained of therein by the Plaintiff.
9. As a direct and proximate result of the Defendant’s breach of duty and negligent acts, Plaintiff was injured and has sustained mental and physical pain and suffering, and incurred medical bills, all caused by the negligence of the Defendant, and all to the detriment of the Plaintiff herein.

Outcome: Settlement in the amount of $7,500 approved by the Court.
