Description: Kenneth Campbell and Pamela Campbell, individually and as guardinas and next friends of Chevey Campell and Angel Campbell, minors, sued GEICO Indemnity Company claiming:

1. This action arises out of an incident that occurred on Saturday, June 25, 2011, in the State of Oklahoma wherein the parents of Chevy Campbell and Angel Campbell received fatal injuries.

2. Plaintiffs Kenneth and Pamela Campbell are the guardians and next friends of minors Angel Campbell and Chevy Campbell. See Order of Permanent Guardian ship attached as Exhibit “A” and Letters of General Guardianship attached as Exhibit “B”.

3. At the time of the automobile accident Tiara Campbell, the minors’ biological mother, was covered under a policy of insurance issued to Keni teth Campbell by GEICO Indemnity Company with provisions for uninsured/underinsured motorists benefits from which Kenneth Campbell and Pamela Campbell, Individually and as Guardians and Next Friends of Angel Campbell and Chevy Campbell, are entitled to recover, and allege that the tortfeasor, Chance Campbell, the minors’ biological father, was an underinsured motorist at the time of this accident,

4. Defendant has offered to settle this matter for a total of Fifty Thousand and No/i 00 Dollars ($50,000.00).

5. Plaintiff Guardians have considered and evaluated the pertinent facts regarding this incident and the injuries incurred, and believe that the proposed settlement is in the best interests of the minors, and fully understand that once the compromised settlement is approved by this Court and consummated, Plaintiffs will be forever barred from seeking further recovery from the Defendant.

WHEREFORE, the Plaintiffs, and said Defendant, respectfully request this Court to approve the settlement agreement as set forth in the above paragraphs between Plaintiff and Defendant and further respectfully request the court to order the claims of the Plaintiff dismissed with prejudice.

Outcome: 1. The Court having reviewed the file and having heard testimony of witnesses sworn and having been fully apprised of the facts, finds that the settlement amount of Twenty-five Thousand and No/i 00 ($25,00.00) to be paid on behalf of the minor child, Angel Campbell, is fair and reasonable and in the best interest of the minor child; and finds that the settlement amount of Twenty-five Thousand and No/100 ($25,00.00) to be paid on behalf of the minor child Chevy Campbell and that GEICO Indemnity Company should be released from further liability arising out of the events alleged in the above styled matter.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the total settlement amount of Fifty Thousand and No/100 ($50,000.00) on behalf of the minor children, Angel Campbell and Chevy Campbell, is hereby approved, and GEICO Indemnity Company is released from further liability to Angel Campbell and Chevy Campbell for any cause of action arising out of this accident.
