Description: Lawton, OK - The State of Oklahoma, ex rel. Department of Transportation sued Thomas F. Rivet, Karen A. Rivet and Board of County Commissioners of Comanche County on eminent domain theories seeking to acquire by condemnation certain rights, title and interested in real property owned by the Rivets located in Comanche County, Oklahoma for public use.

The Commissioners appointed by the Court awarded the Defendants $30,000 in compensation for the taking.

Outcome: Settled with judgment conveying the property in question to the State of Oklahoma.
