Description: Norman, Cleveland County, OK - Julie Dearmon sued Westley Singley on a negligence theory claiming:
1. That on or about April 29, 2008, in Cleveland County, Defendant negligently operated a motor vehicle in such a manner that she collided with a vehicle in which Plaintiff was situated.
2. That as a direct result to Defendant’s negligence, Plaintiff has suffered person injury, including medical expenses, mental and physical pain and suffering and other actual damages.
3. That Defendant’s actions were in disregard for the rights of others, specifically, the Plaintiff’s.
4. This case was originally filed as Cleveland County Case Number CJ-2010-
729. That case was dismissed without prejudice on Novembrt 7, 2011 and is being refiled within one year pursuant to 120.S. § 100.
WHEREFORE, premises considered, and based on reasonable belief, Plaintiff demands judgment against Defendant for damages in excess of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), plus court costs, pre-judgment interest and post-judgment interest , and any further relief the court deems just and equitable.
Outcome: Settled and dismissed with prejudice.
