Description: State of Oklahoma, ex rel. Department of Transportation sued R. Alan Blaksley, et al. seeking to acquired by condemnation certain rights, title and interests in real property owned by Defendants for public use.
The nature and extent of the property taken and damages to the remainder is unknown.
The Court appointed three commissioners to independently assess the damages sustained by the Defendants as a result of the taking by the state. They reported that it was their opinion that the damages totaled $58,000.00.
Plaintiff and defendants filed demands for jury trial on the issue of damages.
Outcome: Settled and dismissed with prejudice for $86,000.00.
