Description: Medical malpractice claim by Lisa Thompson who went to St. John Medical Cneter on April 26, 2001 for myelogram procedcure, performed by defendant Dr. Jeff Krantz. Defendant Krantz is a specialist in neuroradiology and was an employee of defendant Powers Radiology, Inc.

Plaintiff Lisa Thompson claimed she suffered injuries which were directly caused by the negligence of defendant Dr. Krantz in failing to exercise ordinary care in performing a myelogram. Plaintiff Rick Thompson claimed he has suffered a loss of spousal consortium as a reult of the injury to his wife. Plaintiffs claimed that defendant Powers Radiology Inc as defendant Dr. Krantz's employer, is liable for the negligency of Dr. Krantz. Defendants Dr. Krantz and Powers Radiology, Inc. denied the claims of the plaintiffs. The defendants claimed that Dr. Krantz's care and treatment of plaintiff Lisa Thompson on April 26, 2001, met or exceeded the applicable standard of care.
