Description:
Products liability wrongful death claim by Ella Hanner on behalf of the family and estate of Troy Mainord against General Motors and Russ Rogers Chevrolet. Mainord was killed when the 1992 Chevrolet 1500 model pickup he was drving burst into flames after a rearend automobile accident. The Plaintiff claimed that the Chevy pickup was defective and unreasonably dangerous because of its design.
The defendants denied that the truck was defectively designed or manufactured.
