Description: Automobile accident - rearend - Plaintiff's truck and flat bed trailer was hit from the rear by Defendant's tractor-trailer on U.S. Highway 69 near Eufaula, Oklahoma on May 11, 2000. Plaintiff claimed soft tissue injuries to his neck which necessitated a neck fusion at C5-6. Plaintiff's medical expenses were $33,000. Defendant admitted liability but contested damages. Plaintiff was a 50 year old man at the time of the collision.

Outcome: Plaintiff's verdict for $1,100,000.00. Parties settled after the verdict for $1,200,000.00 (includes costs and interest).
