Stanley Shawn Treat Case Number: CF-01-1487 Judge: Jesse Harris Court: District Court, Tulsa County, Oklahoma Plaintiff's Attorney: Assistant District Attorney Caleb Raynolds of the Office of Tim Harris, Tulsa County District Attorney, Tulsa, Oklahoma Defendant's Attorney: Description: Defendant was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on one Jayson Lee Jackson on March 8, 2001. First degree burglary of the home of Priscilla Coats by forcibly breaking open the front door of Coats' residence in Tulsa, Oklahoma. First degree murder of Jayson Lee Jackson by shooting him during the burglary. Defendant was also charged with feloniously pointing a weapon (handgun) at Priscilla Coats for the purpose of threatening and intimidating her. Defendant did not deny that he was involved in the burglary but contested all other charges. Outcome: Defendant was found guility of felony murder and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
