Description: Medical Malpractice - Plaintiffs, women and girls of various ages, claimed that Dr. Ahmed "negligently" fondled them during neurological examination in 1993 and 1994. Plaintiffs also claimed that Knapp was negligent in admitting Dr. Ahmed to its staff.
Dr. Ahmed denied wrongdoing and asserted that the examinations conducted by him were reasonable and necessary.
Outcome: Knapp settled with the plaintiffs for an undisclosed sum and the jury returned a defendant's verdict in favor of Dr. Ahmed.
