Description: Fayetteville, AR - Marianna Man Sentenced To 100 Months In Federal Prison For Drug Trafficking

Marcus Broadway, age 29, was sentenced on August 26, 2019 to 100 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release for one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine. The Honorable Timothy L. Brooks presided over the sentencing hearing in the United States District Court in Fayetteville.

According to court records, detectives received information that Broadway was distributing methamphetamine in the northwest Arkansas area. As a result of the investigation, Broadway sold detectives methamphetamine during controlled purchases in January 2018. When he was later arrested, he was found to be in possession of a firearm.

Broadway was indicted by a federal grand jury in October 2018, and he entered a guilty plea in March 2019.

This case was investigated by the 4th Judicial Drug Task Force and the DEA.
