Description: Tulsa, OK - Terri Lynn Tucker sued Glenpool police officer Daniel Haney on a civil rights violation theory under 42 U.S.C. 1983. She claimed that on September 25, 2010, she was notified by telephone that her son was in a vehicle that had been pulled over by the Glenpool Police Department and went to the scene of the traffic stop.
She claimed that she and Defendant got into a conflict over her desire to talk to her son and Haney violently slammed her to the ground. The encounter was videotaped.
Haney claimed that Plaintiff hit or touched him and he sought Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.
Outcome: Motion for summary judgment sustained and affirmed.
