Description: The United States of America charged Brian Douglas Jinks with possession of child pornography in violation of 18 U.S. C. 2252. On June 23, 2012, security guards at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa found a cell phone that contained child pornography. The Cherokee Nation Marshall Service notified Tulsa FBI agents. The resulting investigation resulted in Jinks being charged with a felony. There are apparently 2,000 images of child pornography on the phone.
Outcome: Defendant pleaded guilty and faces 78 to 97 months in prison.
