Description: Petroleum Traders Corporation of Indiana sued Baltimore County, et al. on a breach of contract theory claiming that Defendant defaulted on its agreement to pubjchase gasoline and diesel fuel. Plaintiff claimed that the county broke its contract with the company in late 2005, after officials discovered the price of fuel it had locked in with the firm was higher than the market price.

Defendants claimed that the contract was invalid because it was not properly executed.

Outcome: Plaintiff's verdict for $700,000.00.
