Christopher Nigel Benn, 24, of Fredonia, Ariz., an enrolled member of the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indian Tribe, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Susan R. Bolton to 25 years’ imprisonment after Benn had previously pleaded guilty to one count of abusive sexual contact of a minor. The Court also imposed a lifetime term of supervised release to follow Benn’s term of imprisonment.
The investigation revealed that Benn sexually abused the minor victim, who was under the age of 12, on the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indian Reservation in 2013.
The investigation in this case was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Outcome: Defendant was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
