Description: Clifford Smith sued Central Mine Equipment Company on a negligence and products liability theories.

Plaintiff claimed that he was working with a CME-55 truck mounted drill rig when was pulled into the rig's drilling auger and severely injured, disabled, and disfigured.

He claimed that Defendant manufactured the CME-55 truck mounted drilling rig and injected it into the stream of commerce. He further claimed that the rig was defective and unreasonably dangerous and caused the injuries that he sustained while operating the rig.

Defendant denied fault.
