The State of Oregon charged Henry Louis Gulacy, age 18, with 13 counts of attempted aggravated murder, one count of first-degree arson, and one county of second-degree burglary. The charges arose out of a fire that occurred at a house owned by Marcus and Roberts Roberts, who lived next door to the Defendant, on August 28, 2015.

Defense counsel, William Redden, attacked the sufficiency of the State's evidence to convict his client.

Outcome: Defendant was convicted on the arson and burglary charged.
