Description: Boston, MA - Jury Convicts Two of Murder

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts charged Wesson Colas and Keith Williams first-degree murder, armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for a non-fatal injury to a surviving victim and unlawful possession of a firearm in the 2014 shooting death of Dawnn Jaffiers, age 26. The shooting that resulted in Jaffiers' death occurred as a result of a conflict between to groups of gang members.

Ms. Jaffiers and some friends were walking to Boston's annual Caribbean Festival when she was shot in the head. Another person standing nearby was grazed.

Outcome: Guilty
