Description: New Orleans, LA - The State of Louisiana charged Joshua Lee, age 23, with first-degree murder and assault and battery with intent to kill in conjunction with the shooting death of Chad Huth, age 24, during an early morning home invasion on April 22, 2010. The State claimed that Lee shot and killed Huth and shot but did not kill Chris "Corky" Wells during the home invasion robbery.

Wells and Paul Patin identified Lee as the shooter. Huth was shot in the back and died after crawling into a bathroom and locking the door.

Cell phone records confirmed that Lee's phone was at the scene of the crime at the time of the shooting.

Outcome: The defendant was found guilty.
