The Plaintiffs' husbands all worked for Union Asbestos & Rubber Company, later known as UNARCO Industries, Inc. in the 1950s and 1960s. Plaintiffs claimed that Defendant's predecessor in interest concealed the hazardous nature of the asbestos that they came into contact with at work.
