The State of Idaho charged Jason Benjamin with knowingly having sex with an 17-year-old former student.
Idaho law prohibits sex between an adult when the victim is 16 or 17 years old and the perpetrator is at least three years older.
Defendant admitted that he had sex with the girl and that she was only 17.
There was no question that the girl was a willing participant in the sexual activity.
Outcome: Not guilty
